Golf at Tubac

Welcome to Southern Arizona’s most historic golf resort. Tubac was designed in 1959 by renowned golf course architect Robert ‘Red’ Lawrence. The original 18-hole course was considered to be the “Jewel of Southern Arizona Golf Courses.” Red was a founding member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and designed several famous courses throughout the country. In 2006, nine additional holes were woven into the original 18 by local golf course architect Ken Kavanaugh, significantly enhancing the layout.

LifeLong Golfers will enjoy learning in a private practice area during golf school sessions and will play all all three of the acclaimed 9-hole routings: The Otero Course, The Anza Course and Ranchero Course.

Will You Have Your Tin Cup Moment at Golf School? FUN FACT….
The Tubac Golf Resort and Spa was made famous by Kevin Costner’s 1996 movie Tin Cup, where many iconic scenes were filmed.

The LifeLong Golf Retreat Experience

Our LifeLong Golf Retreat in the desert is a unique opportunity for golfers of all skill levels to build both confidence and skills. Students will enjoy the supportive environment created by two women Top 100 teachers while discovering an even deeper love for playing the game.

Each student will complete a player survey prior to attending the retreat. These surveys will guide our curriculum and itinerary each day–our primary goal is to create a dynamic and FUN environment for all skill levels attending. From our clinics to on-course coaching rounds, you will leave this school with three core takeaways:

  • A more dependable and adaptable golf swing
  • A clear sense of who you are as a player and an on-course framework that creates a customized pathway to lower your scores
  • A confident golfer who enjoys taking on new challenges–whether you’re playing 18 holes for the first time,  joining the 9 hole ladies group or competing in the club championship

In addition to learning and playing each day, students will enjoy a private FootJoy shopping experience, premium Titleist balls and a LifeLong Golf gift that includes golf school books and practice guides for independent continued improvement.
